BPA baseball instructors are the best in the Southern California, with experience as both player and teacher. Each of BPA’s instructors has professional and Division 1 college experience. Their baseball background makes them the one most knowledgeable staffs in the country.
Jared’s professional experience includes solid performances in the Texas/Louisiana League, with the San Angelo Colts. He played college baseball at Glendale Jr. College and and San Jose State University. A product of Calabasas, California, Jared was a 4-year varsity standout at Calabasas High school and at Montclair Prep in Van Nuys, California.
Jared is currently the Director of Team Development, and the founder of our College Development Program. His BPA DeMarini Teams have consistantly been ranked among the nations best at all age levels. His passion lies in coaching and his track record shows it.
A veteran of 12 years in the Major Leagues, Craig debuted as a rookie with the Chicago White Sox in 1990, where he played until 1995. His long career included stints with the Marlins, Angels, Blue Jays and Red Sox.
After graduating from Cal State Dominguez Hills, Craig was a standout in the minor leagues as well, recognized with MVP and All-Star awards. He was later named to the AA Birmingham Barons All-Decade Team. Craig continues to coach in the Minor League organization for the Angels, and has coached elite travel ball teams since 2005.
Pete was drafted by the LA Dodgers in 1997, and enjoyed a career lasting 9 years as a professional. After three years with the Dodgers organization, he spent time with the Phillies, Mets, Diamondbacks, Yankees, and the Brewers.
Pete was a two-time All-American at UCLA, and is currently coaching at Capo Valley High School as well as the BPA College Development Program. Pete is an outstanding coach, instilling a good work ethic in his players, and takes great pride in their development.
Ryan was a 3B/1B under MLB Veteran and Hall Of Fame member Tony Gwynn at San Diego State University. Ryan was a career .300 hitter at SDSU, where he wore Tony Gwynn’s #19 jersey in 2015 in honor of his legacy. He was named College Sports Madness Freshman All American in 2012, All Mountain Selection West 2012, 2013, and was 3rd all time on SDSU’s career doubles list.
In his high school career, Ryan was an Under Armor Futures All-American. Ryan graduated from SDSU with a degree in Criminology.
